Though she's made her career in the field of law for nearly thirty years, Ginny Davis has been a lover of music all her life, with a passion for rock and roll, blues, and jazz.

Having lived in San Diego since 1976, she's well acquainted with the best of the city's music scene, venues, events, and bands.

Ginny's music connections run deep- her daughter Andi worked in San Diego radio for nearly ten years, including three years as the host and creator of a local roots music radio show called Jumpin' Like Mad. Through Andi, Ginny developed relationships with a number of local bands, including Hot Rod Lincoln.

As a fan and friend of The Lafayette Blues Band (Lafayette is now with Lafayette and the Leasebreakers), Ginny would help out by occasionally booking gigs for the group. Over time she developed relationships with local club owners and bookers, as well as with other bands. As it happened, Ginny not only thoroughly enjoyed her adopted role, but the clubs and bands truly enjoyed working with her as well.

At the Jumpin' Like Mad 2000 Christmas Show, Buzz Campbell from Hot Rod Lincoln asked Ginny if she would be interested in trying her hand at booking his band- the most popular and well established rockabilly band in San Diego. Ginny was enthusiastic about it, and very shortly had lined up three gigs for Hot Rod Lincoln. Buzz was mightily impressed.

Once she set her mind to it, it didn't take long before Ginny had four, then six bands on her talent roster, and nothing but glowing praise from club owners and managers. Her friendly yet professional way of doing business quickly earned her an excellent reputation among bands and venues alike.

Booking musical entertainment also put Ginny in close contact with the radio industry, where she became known for her determination and perseverance in getting her clients involved in radio station events. She now also provides professional voice talent for a variety of radio projects including voice tracking, commercial voice over, specialty show production, imaging and more.
